The new CD covers a large spectrum or resonances in the sphere of power of KALI, the Great Cosmic Power of TIME.

I was amazed to see how much the final version of the CD had improved from the demo versions that I had listened to! (and these were already very good!).

The CD itself is a piece of art; the combination of the visual artwork and the text creates a  ’complete experience’ that is in the same resonance with the music. It  really is a collectors item!

IBIS MUSIC is one of the most amazing projects that i have come across. The musicians Mariah and Hans are very talented artists, but above this, after many years of individual practice of yoga and Tantra they hold the knowledge of genuine spirituality.

This aspect makes IBIS an almost unique band in the very messy musical “landscape” of modern time. Their spiritual experience transfers into their music the ‘power’ to induce pure resonances with cosmic aspects of a very high refinement, allowing the prepared listener to easily follow them in spiritual journeys on heights that are only usually accessible for advanced practitioners of meditation and tantra techniques. Without the pretence they can induce evolution in people (as many “new ager’s” superficially pretend), IBIS are opening the horizon to search for more, and to awaken the evolving genuine spiritual aspiration in the one who is open. This is a rare gift that only those that have a deep understanding of the spiritual path combined with a certain artistic talent can have. The one who allows IBIS’S message to enter inside their heart will discover for a while a vaster perspective from where they can see where their path is leading next.

Being very dedicated to their spiritual ideals, Hans and Mariah (IBIS) are not making any compromises, that often artists today make for the sake of marketing. Their music is first a spiritual tool and only after this it becomes a “good” that can be marketed, only serving some spiritual purposes. It is a pure precious stone that is polished not only to shine beautifully, but also to light the darkness with its shine or to mark the path.

For IBIS art is not a reason to affirm their personality but more a tool of a genuine spiritual practice, and what you can receive from them is the result of their constant personal effort for perfection. This fact gives their art a very special flavor of INITIATION. In a way they are becoming genuine initiators for all those that are open to receive this message.

The experience one has from listening to their music is similar to a trancelike state of a very high and refined nature, opening the listener to inner dimensions that usually are sealed by the superficial mental agitation.

Being genuine tantric initiates (I know them personally), IBIS have been able to make the design of the whole concept assigned to a coherent spiritual message that one can receive, starting from the cover of the CD, the booklet inside and the music on the CD. All is made in perfect accordance with the concept and the spiritual message they wish to transmit to the one who is following them in this spiritual journey. Everything is carefully conceived and nothing is there only for the sake of ‘nicety’. All that is produced is a result of an art work that fulfills one of the highest meanings of art: to lead the soul to its divine heights. This coherence of the message is also another rarity today when often the artwork is a mixture of inspirations, personal experiences (many times negative or strange, the only merit of the artist being to be able to express these inferior resonances in the specific language of a certain form of art), symbols that are all together telling something interesting but nothing useful for the receiver. IBIS art is enchanting the soul but in the same time this enchantment is precisely designed to propel the soul further on the path of evolution. They are producing a travel “map” that they paint with the talent of a great painter.

Now that they are preparing the NEW ALBUM I wish them to continue without compromise this spiritual journey and to remain always the sign of the spiritual awakening.
